Tyler Skibba D.C.

Dr. Skibba is the co-founder of The Chiropractic Advantage in the Fox Cities. As a specialist in extremities, Dr. Skibba goes beyond the spine to help people with arm and leg problems, in addition to the typical back and leg problems.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin--La Crosse.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Skibba received a Spanish Minor at the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse after studying Spanish for nine years. In addition to graduating Magna Cum Laude at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Skibba has also completed over 600 hours of continuing education in the areas of chiropractic medicine, advanced adjusting techniques, physiotherapy, neurology, TMJ and extremity treatments, sports performance, soft tissue techniques and nutrition.

He received invaluable experience in geriatrics during rotations at the University of Iowa Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Skibba has taken courses in pediatrics, Lumbar Flexion—Distraction, Thompson Technique, Sacral—Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Activator, NUCCA, myofascial release and many others. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (C.C.E.P.).

Dr. Skibba is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, Council on Extremity Adjusting, Grand Chute Kiwanis and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Skibba shares his compassion by volunteering for many causes around the world. In addition to local philanthropy, he has provided free health care in a less fortunate part of India, and he plans on many future journeys to come.

To stay healthy and active, Dr. Skibba enjoys participating in many sports, including: basketball, golf, weightlifting, running, snowboarding and softball.

In addition to graduating Summa Cum Laude at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Buss has completed over 600 hours of continuing education in the areas of chiropractic medicine, advanced adjusting techniques, physiotherapy, neurology, TMJ and extremity treatments, sports performance, soft-tissue techniques and nutrition. He received invaluable experience in geriatrics during rotations at the University of Iowa Veterans Affairs hospital.

Chiropractor Appleton WI Jason Weyenberg Meet The Team

Chiropractor & Director of the Appleton Clinic

Jason Weyenberg D.C.

Location: Appleton WI

Dr. Weyenberg was born and raised in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He gained an interest in chiropractic care back in high school, after his uncle provided chiropractic care to help him get back on the field faster after suffering injuries while playing football and baseball.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point where he majored in Biology. Dr. Weyenberg then attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota where he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. While in school, Dr. Weyenberg interned at the Woodwinds Natural Care Center in Woodbury, Minnesota for three trimesters where he gained a lot of experience with many different patient presentations. He was also an intern for one trimester at the school clinic and did a rotation at a local homeless shelter.

Dr. Weyenberg moved back home after finishing chiropractic school and had been practicing at a local clinic for three years before joining the team at The Chiropractic Advantage in the spring of 2019. While practicing at the clinic in Kimberly, Dr. Weyenberg volunteered as a sideline trainer for the Kimberly Youth Association football program for two seasons.

Dr. Weyenberg lives in the Fox Valley with his wife, Kacie. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, woodworking, boating, and playing and watching sports; especially the Brewers and Packers.

Chiropractor

Dan Richter D.C.

Location: Appleton WI

Dr. Dan is a native of Appleton and loves the Fox Valley area. Chiropractic has helped him significantly while participating in martial arts. He gained an interest in the chiropractic profession after having several conversations with his chiropractor. Dr. Dan originally sought out to become a mechanical engineer and graduated from U.W. Platteville.

He worked as an engineer for 12 years but eventually decided that the chiropractic profession would be much more rewarding. He quit his job, sold his house, and went to chiropractic school. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Dan participated in the Clinic Abroad program where he went to less fortunate areas of Brazil to provide free health care. He graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Dan has completed training in Thompson Technique, Sacral-Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Activator, Directional Non-Force Technique (DNFT), and nutrition. Dr. Dan has also has advanced training in ‘corrective care’ chiropractic and has been providing that service since 2011. He also enjoys helping patients with nutrition.

In his free time, Dr. Dan enjoys cooking, woodworking, hunting and fishing, and motorcycling.

Emma Weisensel D.C.

Location: Appleton WI

Dr. Emma grew up in Clinton, WI and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It was while she was completing her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology that she became curious about chiropractic and how it could help people live healthier lifestyles.

This led her to become a chiropractic assistant. After working as a chiropractic assistant for a few years, her appreciation for chiropractic grew and she decided to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Emma graduated valedictorian from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, she was a teaching assistant in the technique department and participated in a chiropractic clerkship at the Orlando Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. Engaging in the clerkship solidified her passion for chiropractic care after witnessing its universal ability to benefit individuals regardless of their backgrounds.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, planning her next backpacking adventure, listening to live music and trying a new brewery.

Dakota Malzewski D.C.

Location: Appleton WI & Waupaca WI

Dr. Dakota Malzewski received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She is originally from Menasha, WI and recently moved back to the area after practicing in Crandon, WI for 6 years.

While attending Palmer, Dr. Dakota was active in the Sigma Phi Chi sorority and interned for Dr. Mitch Mally where she learned and taught specific extremity adjusting, completed a 2-week internship program at a local low-income health care clinic, and spent her final year teaching students as the president of Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT®) Club. She has completed a number of advanced post-graduate trainings in the pediatric and perinatal populations, which includes a Webster certification through the ICPA. She is currently working toward the CCAP certification through the ICPA.

Additionally, she holds a seat on the board of directors for SORSI, which is a chiropractic organization that teaches SOT® (Sacro-occipital Technic).

Dr. Dakota strongly believes that every person is unique, and must be treated as such, so she blends tools from many chiropractic techniques to tailor her care for each patient. Her techniques include: SOT®, Thompson Drop, Applied Kinesiology, Diversified, Activator Methods, Gonstead, Webster, and other gentle techniques specific to the pediatric and perinatal populations. Dr. Dakota has dedicated her life to studying the body and the intricate ways it is connected. She’s passionate about addressing the whole body, to include organ and cranial function, and she looks forward to working with you to resolve your physical issues and return to full health.

Jody Wiltsey

Jody has been a fun addition to our staff. Jody isn’t a stranger to chiropractic care, so she brings an enthusiasm for wellness to the clinic that’s personal and she’s ready to promote good healthy habits with our patients!

Jody grew up in Appleton but currently lives in Neenah with her 4 children and black lab and two new kittens!

In her free time she enjoys being creative, playing games with her kids and dog, and also camping and watching basketball. Her dream vacation would be to take her family for a road trip out West. She loves some good appetizers or anything off the grill. Her current favorite book is The Monsters Inside of Me by Dr. Brent Buss (winkwink), and her favorite movies are anything with Will Ferrell or Tom Hanks.

Jody chiropractic care has kept her moving and functioning. Without it, she says, she would be on a lot of medication.

Michael is passionate about making a meaningful impact in people’s lives, and his work reflects a deep commitment to helping others feel their best. Whether it’s supporting someone through chronic pain or helping them understand the root causes of their symptoms, he brings both knowledge and care to every interaction.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys fitness, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also volunteers regularly through his local church, always looking for ways to serve both his community and his faith.

Alicia was born and raised in Appleton, WI. Although she did venture off to Carthage College to study Social Work for a stint, she has returned to the Fox Valley where she currently resides in Kimberly.

Alicia joins our team after being a patient at our office for six years. She states that regular chiropractic care has greatly helped her back pain and she is glad she gets to help others get the same care she received. Alicia has always been passionate about helping people and knew she wanted to help people in her future career, whether that be in the social work or health care realm.

In Alicia's spare time she sings as a worship leader at her church, enjoys finding new hiking trails, or watercolor painting. On her lazy days she loves meeting a friend at a coffee shop or binge watching her favorite show, The Office.

Ann was introduced to chiropractic care as a 15 year old when she was in a bad car accident where she experienced amazing results.

Unfortunately, she stopped going for a long time (too long in her own words) but found her way to the Chiropractic Advantage where she loved the caring doctors here.

When Ann is not recommending chiropractic care to everyone she meets you can find her relaxing at home with her 3 children and boyfriend, going on a motorcycle ride, watching a Pitch Perfect flick, or unwinding with Diamond Art.

Having graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in 2017, Megan has been a licensed massage therapist for 5 years. She enjoys deeper therapeutic work to help solve the root of your problem. She is certified in trigger point therapy, deep tissue, prenatal, aromatherapy, hot stone, sports massage, Swedish massage and chair massage. In her free time, she loves being outdoors.

Lynsey received her associate degree in Massage Therapy from the Minnesota School of Business in Rochester MN in 2008. She has been a licensed massage therapist in Wisconsin since 2010 when she moved back to the area, and has been massaging full time ever since.

Anna Brayton

Anna is a Nutrition and Holistic Health enthusiast! Born and raised in Kaukauna WI as 1 of 6 children, Anna's journey of health and helping others really began as she joined the military out of High School. Peak physical performance and nutrition became a passion for Anna as she obtained a degree in Nutrition from UW-LaCrosse, where she also fell in love working with at-risk youth and families.

Being devastated by the rise in mental health concerns among teens, Anna applied her mentoring and nutrition skills to serve families and help give them tools to improve their lives. As a former foster parent, Anna has seen first hand the positive impact that diet, lifestyle, nutrigenomic testing, and quality supplementation can make. Anna continues to learn and apply all of her experiences to consult with individuals and families to help impact the health of her community.

Anna grew up going to a Chiropractor, which served her well throughout the military, being active as a soccer player and mountain climber, and throughout her pregnancies. As a young mom of two children, Anna continues to see her children flourish under Chiropractic care, which fuels her passion to educate the community even more.

When Anna is not talking about digestive health, functional medicine, or her latest healthy recipe, she is hanging out with family, coming up with puns, or hiking with the love of her life, Michael. Whatever realm Anna is in, she lives to make people smile and give them hope again.

It is great excitement that we share our newest hire, Ashley with you all! Ashely is joining our team as a Chiropractic Assistant but she first heard of the position from becoming a patient at our office!

She started seeing Dr. Goetz in June of '24 due to a shoulder injury. Since seeing him she hasn't needed any pain medications, injections or surgery, so she has become a believer in what chiropractic care can do.

In Ashley's spare time you can find her going to concerts with her daughter, spending time with your large family, horseback riding, exploring the vastness of CA, touring breweries, reading a book, or getting a pedicure. If you desire to win over Ashley's heart you can prepare steak for her, preferably venison.

Elena was adopted from Russia as an infant by a loving family and was given the opportunity to participate in gymnastics and other sports throughout her school years and into high school.

She has some college background in financial work along with QuickBooks training, which she hopes to return to at some point in the future. Elena grew up in the Manitowoc area but has always had family in Appleton, so she is familiar with the area.

In her free time, Elena enjoys spending time with her two cats and her two little munchkins. She enjoys spending time outdoors and bike riding along the water line of lake Michigan when she gets the chance. Elena has been using chiropractic care for over a decade as a way to stay proactive and prevent injuries related to her active lifestyle and sports background. She’s a coffee fanatic and loves exploring new family-owned restaurants. Elena is very active in her hometown of Manitowoc, WI, and enjoys going and listening to all the live music events the community hosts during the warmer months. In the colder months she enjoys ripping around on a snowmobile or snuggling up next to a warm fire watching the snowfall.

Meet Andrea, our billing specialist, joining us all the way from Kaukauna, WI where she currently lives with her husband, two teenagers, cat, dog, and two large salt water fish tanks.

While they currently spend a lot of time supporting their children in their sport endeavor's, they love spending outdoor time hiking, swimming, and traveling. Although Andrea has spent a lot of time traveling she hopes to one day make it to Hawaii!

Andrea's parents saw the vision of chiropractic care and took her and her siblings in since they were little. She's been able to pass the legacy down to her children. As a result they can advocate for their own health and know when it's time to call the chiropractor for a tune up!

Blake Bredeson D.C.

Location: Manitowoc WI

Since 2014, Dr. Blake has been witnessing firsthand the impact of chiropractic care on his patients' lives, enabling them to pursue their passions and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.

Dr. Blake attained his expertise in sports chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, and gained invaluable experience in geriatrics during his rotation at Woodwinds Natural Care Center in Woodbury, MN. His extensive training includes Kinesiology Taping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Trigger Point Release Therapy, TMJ Disorder, Thompson Technique, Activator, Myofascial release, and more.

For nine years, he helped families and children thrive under chiropractic care in Elk River, MN, before relocating to Wisconsin with his family in 2024.

Outside of the chiropractic profession, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife, Dani, their daughter, Briar, and their son, Decker. They love traveling to their cabin, camping and canoeing, hiking, and hunting. Occasionally, you'll find him on the golf course or watching football, contemplating his enduring loyalty to the Vikings.

Jacob Bloch D.C.

Location: Oconto WI

Dr. Bloch was one of five children growing up near Pulaski, WI. Throughout his childhood he excelled in school and was even awarded the Officer Bob Award in 2007 for being extremely respectful, responsible, honest, trustworthy, compassionate, and for having outstanding character.

Dr. Bloch also excelled in sports as a lead off batter and starting catcher while playing baseball in high school. He also found a love for volleyball while in undergrad and chiropractic school.

He attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh from 2011-2013 before deciding to follow his love for the outdoors and transfer to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. There he was able to get away from the city life and enjoy the outdoors while achieving a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2015.

From there Dr. Bloch began chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2016. He believes that health begins from the inside out and with nerve interference, a person cannot achieve their full potential.

Dr. Bloch practices diversified, gonstead, drop, and activator techniques, as well as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release technique, and active release technique.

Dr. Bloch is a Wisconsin native and loves the seasons Wisconsin has to offer. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He also enjoys water and shooting sports.

Dr. Katie grew up in Phillips, WI before attending Michigan Technological University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. During this time, she learned more about the chiropractic profession and how she could impact the lives of those around her.

She then attended Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, MN where she graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic with an emphasis in Sports and Rehabilitation. While at Northwestern, she was a teaching assistant in the chiropractic studies department and served on the student senate for her cohort. She moved to the Fox Valley where she completed her last two semesters of chiropractic school. Dr. Katie is excited to be working in a place where she can make a positive difference in the community!

In her free time, she enjoys many hobbies including woodworking, crocheting, and restoring vintage radios with her husband Matt. She is also a big fan of the TV show "Survivor" and is always willing to discuss the current season.

Abbey grew up in Pembine Wi and graduated from LTC in 2015 with a diploma in Medical Coding and is currently working on earning her degree in Health Information Management.

Even though working with insurance can be a pain she really enjoys problem solving and getting those claims paid! Her favorite thing about working for The Chiropractic Advantage is all her wonderful co-workers and getting to know all of the patients.

When Abbey is not at work you can find her at one of her 3 kids' sports activities or “up north” spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading, spending time outside, and shopping in her free time.

Yadi is a college student currently attending the University of Green Bay in pursuit of her Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Yadi didn’t have prior chiropractic experience before joining our team, but has developed an appreciation for chiropractic care and the long-term benefits it has to offer.

Carrie was born in Manitowoc and after graduating high school she lived in Green Bay for six years. She earned her degree at UWGB where she majored in Psychology and Human Development.

She’s got bad posture and the tendency to slouch while she’s reading. In 2024, she joined the Manitowoc office team after being a long term patient and seeing the benefits of regular chiropractic care.

In her free time, she likes reading horror novels and exploring different areas in Wisconsin. She loves to shop and try new foods, even though she shouldn’t be spending all that money on treats.

Katie

Location: Manitowoc WI

Katie was born & raised in Manitowoc, WI then ventured out to Stevens Point, WI to attend UWSP for Graphic Design. From there, she moved to Los Angeles where she lived with her now-husband, pursued an online degree in Nutrition from SWIHA out of Arizona & worked in the Wellness & Nutrition space. In 2020 she moved back to Manitowoc & started up her photography business.

During her time spent in LA she enjoyed working with chiropractors and always encouraged her clients to get regular adjustments - Katie herself has seen improvements in her own back & neck pain with chiropractic care.

When she’s not at work you can find Katie capturing a wedding or engagement for her small business, exploring new towns & trying new restaurants or coffee shops with her husband. She loves to wander around thrift stores and often finds herself in a bookstore buying another book even though her TBR pile is already huge. She has two cats, Merry & Pippin, that she loves more than words can say.
